Well I really suck at this blogging thing. I am too inconsistent and actually forget to post anything at all.

Christmas, New Years and JC's birthday flew by these last few months and nothing from me. We have been busy and just having fun. Christmas was a lot of fun our first one in our new house, we had the family over in the morning and had brunch while the kids played. It was a pleasant day.

JC, turned two and the 'terribles' set in that day, I swear, my sweet little mellow boy suddenly became bossy, whiny, and unreasonable. It started at the restaurant for his birthday celebration. He is always very good when we go out to eat. Not when he turned two, that was it, we even had to leave early because he would not settle down. The odd thing was that Zoe was being very happy go lucky (which is not usually the case). So I guess we have a long year ahead with the new JC. Hopefully he'll settle in to the terrible two's and overcome them fast. He is a little ahead of the game in other areas soooo... it stands to reason this too will pass.

The rest of the family is doing well, Max will be driving in ahhhhh.......like two months!@!!!!! Can you believe it? I cannot believe my little big man is growing up and becoming man! He is really a good kid I cannot complain. KNOCK on Wood! Spencer is trucking along and growing like a weed he is turning into a preteen right before my eyes. We have the whole gamut of ages in our house is like a whirlwind of development around here. I can hardly tell if I am coming or going. Switching from toddler to tween to teen mindset is enough to cause one to drink.

Life is good though I have to say overall")

Zoe is in to body art these days:)

Ahh! The day before Thanksgiving, we have a 5 day weekend ahead. So ready for a break. We are hosting dinner this year for turkey day. We'll see how it goes, I have never made a turkey before. I have great plans though. I am kind of excited to have everyone come over, to our big house it will be fun. JC has been a little under the weather, daddy almost needed a vacation after yesterday. Dan stayed home with the monkey's because of a possible ear infection and it was NOT a good day. Our doctor is out of town and there isn't one on call this week. I called around and appointments are slim. I think we will wait this one out, JC is doing fine today and he slept all night last night. Ear infections can clear themselves up without antibiotics so I think we will see how it goes.

Halloween

I love Halloween. It is my favorite holiday. I love to dress up and always have. I think next year we will have to host a Costume party at our house, I just couldn't pull it off after Spencer's costume bash, I was worn out. Here are a few picts of the kids, notice that Spencer is the same thing every year. We went trick or treating with our friends Chris, Aprille and Isabella, what fun. Dan is JC's coach and Zoe is my kitty.

Its About Time

I have been so neglectful of this blog. We have had a lot going on the last month or so!!! We are all busy with school, work, home life, birthdays, weddings you name it. Life is good (yes I said that outloud).

First things first. Since I have been back to work the kids have been staying home with Dan he is a great Mr. Mom. They go do all kinds of fun things while the rest of us are slaving away at work/school. They have gone to the Children's museum, the zoo, the park......... Ahhh but he did have help from Grandma Judy. It is almost impossible to take two toddlers on some adventures without help.

Spencer turned 11 on October 25th. We had a huge costume party the night before. It was a lot of fun........and very loud. Imagine 15 or so screaming, sugar induced 11 year olds running (literally) around the house. The weather has been so nice I was able to kick them outside for a bit where they had a silly string fight, Max was also involved but his focus was on me and me only. Needless to say I got the brunt of his wrath. It was a boy and girl party, so later they played spin the bottle. Supervised of course, it was pretty cute and innocent. It makes me so happy to see Spence having fun with all his friends. I am still recovering..........and Spence is planning for next year. (we'll see......ahhhhhh)!!

Also this month, on Spencer's birthday Lil Pauling got married. She looked gorgeous as she is. She is such a sweetheart!!! It was a beautiful wedding and her and Matt make a great couple, they look perfect together. I am soooo happy for them both. We always use to tell Pauline to date and not get too involved with the first guy she meets, to live a little and find that special guy and I really think she did. Sometimes people give good advice, too bad I don't always listen. Except when my Mom tells me what to do, then I always listen (right mom?) Ha Ha!

Here's a few pictures to catch up on for the last month and a half. I will try to post more often, I just seem to go through spurts.

CRAZY!!

Days go by they turn into weeks and then it is new month. Life has been crazy, work is hectic and so is the home life. Zoe has been a little under the weather. She has a bladder infection. I think? We have been trying to get a sample to test for the past few days. Finally we did. So we will get the results tomorrow and hopefully get her back. Her whole personality changed and not for the better. Have I ever mentioned that girls are tough? But oh soooo loved!!!

All the boys are doing well. JC had an ear infection, on the first day of daycare of course. He is feeling much better now. JC is so bright he is talking in full sentences knows all his colors and can rote count up to 10. Maybe it is just because he is my boy but that is advanced for an almost 20 month old. Everyone else safely started school and it is looking good. Max is taking AP History, so he can earn college credit. Spencer started with a new teacher that he really seems to like. His poem was published in Highlights and we are very proud to have a published author in the family.

Here are some photos finally. I found the camera. These are from Zoe's birthday she loves to dress up in princess clothes. I wish they had these fun clothes when I was little I loved to play dress up. I still do, Halloween season approaches.
